Last week Zach and I took a trip to Eau Claire, Wisconsin for a little vacay and to see his sister, brother-in-law and nieces. We had a BLAST. It was cold, the trees were beautiful, and we just really enjoyed everything about it. If you are from Texas, or the south, you know that it has still been in the 80′s here, so it was extremely nice to get away to some cold. We LOVE fall/winter, and actually want it to be cold during those months. Haha. But anywho, His sister (pictured in the last photo) took us to a bunch of really neat scenic places, like Irvine Park. It was absolutely beautiful! You just don’t see trees change like that here in the South. We ate some ginormous cheese curds, drank hot chocolate, went on a ton of adventures, saw a moose for the first time, watched “Frozen” 20 times while listening to my precious nieces sing “Let it Go” what seemed like 100 times. But honestly I never get tired of it, because they are just so stinkin’ cute! OH and on our way back home we stopped at the Mall of America to kill some time before our flight. And OH MY GOSH. It is incredible! We got a lot of cool stuff, and I got to visit the only physical Sigma store in the world! I was so stoked! So I’d say this vacation will go down as one we will always remember. Thanks to my sweet sister-in-law for being such a great hostess! She really is the sweetest, and is just like a real sister to me. Love her! And my sweet sweet husband that made everything about the vacation perfect. Hope you guys had a great week! I’ve missed ya!

P.S. We just recently found out that one of our favorite artists, Bon Iver is from Eau Claire, and is starting a music festival there! So there will definitely be many more trips in the future.

Happy belated Valentine’s Day! This past week has been super hectic, so I wasn’t able to have the post up on the actual day. Sad Face. My husband and I celebrated the day after Valentine’s and he surprised me with this super cute “Mrs” necklace from Kate Spade and took me to my favorite sushi restaurant! And on the actual day of Valentine’s he sent me on a scavenger hunt to find a set of Sigma brushes, which are my fave! It was a great V-Day weekend to say the least. I’ll tell ya, being married is SOOOO cool. Valentine’s is everyday getting to live my life with my very own Prince Charming. People may say that I’m immature or naive for believing in Fairytales, but I’m living one, so how could I not? Sure, there are a few villains along the way, but good always wins in the end and along comes the Happily Ever After. You often hear people groan about how Valentine’s Day is a stupid holiday and that you should show your significant other love every day of the year, and that’s true, but I think V-Day is beautiful in a way that it makes you take a step back and really appreciate your loved one. Sometimes we take the love we have for granted, or we just get lost in the hustle and bustle of life and other things hold more of our attention than that special someone. But Valentine’s kind of forces us to focus on what is right in front of us. What’s really important, and that is the love that we have. Let’s never lose that. Because in the end, love is all that matters.

Happy New Year everyone!!! There’s something so exciting about a new year, and a fresh start! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted. I came down with the flu, and I have been quarantined in my home for the past week. It’s been terrible. But luckily I started to feel better just in time for New Years! My husband and I have this cute little tradition that we started last year, where we get all dressed up, and have a party of two at our home with champagne and music. It’s so fun! That’s what I love so much about us. We don’t have to go out and party or anything. We just get dressed up for each other and enjoy a fun night in!
For my New Years Eve look, I went to Urban Outfitters, knowing I would surely find something that sparkles, and I wasn’t disappointed! I found this amazing sequin top, and this black skirt, and paired it with my Kate Spade tights that I just got for Christmas! I adore them so much! Definitely recommend that every girl own a pair!
2013 was amazing. I got to marry my Prince Charming, and the rest of my life began. It was full of so many blessing. Some trials, but nothing I couldn’t overcome with the help of my family, and God. I’m so excited to see what this next year brings us. Let’s all remember to live it to the fullest!

New Year in Neverland,

Whitney Paige
